This project was created to profile quarterbacks, uniquely skilled athletes who play the most demanding position in sports, to find out what they possess above the shoulders that leads to their success- not just on the field, but after their career ends. What can be learned from these signal callers and used to reach maximum potential in all areas of life? The crucial concepts of responding to adversity, communication, processing large amounts of information at once, and decision making all play a pivotal part in being a successful QB. But they can also play a role in running a business, relationships, or taking on a new personal challenge. This aims to be a collection of stories and lessons from these accomplished signal callers. 

As a former quarterback for the Michigan State Spartans, I was fortunate to be a part of some of the most memorable games in school history. Taking down #1 ranked Ohio State on the road, beating Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Notre Dame & Florida were the highest of highs. But there were lows as well. Chronic back pain which affected my performance and being benched during the last home game of my career would test me in ways I never saw coming. I had the very unique experience of playing with Plaxico Burress, against Tom Brady and for Nick Saban. All of this taught me a great deal about what it takes to be a successful QB. I would later find out that those lessons aren't just for winning football games, they are also for quarterbacking your family, your business and your life.
